Install: Claude Cowork

Prerequisites

You need a Claude Cowork account. No other software is required — Python dependencies are installed automatically the first time you run a skill.

Choose your install method

Folder (Download)

Download the latest release and open it as a Cowork project.

1. Download the release

   Download the latest release directly:

   ⬇ Download codraft-latest.zip

2. Extract the archive

   Unzip the file to a folder of your choice. Your Documents folder works well.

3. Open the folder in Cowork

   In Claude Cowork, create a new project. When prompted for a project folder, select the extracted codraft/ directory.

   Cowork loads CLAUDE.md as project context and makes the Codraft skills available automatically.

4. Verify the install

   Tell Claude: “Prepare a mutual NDA”

   Claude should find the bundled Bonterms Mutual NDA template and start the interview.

Plugin

Caution

The Cowork Plugin Marketplace is not yet widely available. If you do not see a Plugin Marketplace option in your Cowork UI, use the Folder (Download) method above instead.

Install directly from the Cowork Plugin Marketplace.

1. Open the Plugin Marketplace

   In Claude Cowork, navigate to the Plugin Marketplace.

2. Search for Codraft

   Search for houfu/codraft and click Install.

3. Verify the install

   Tell Claude: “Prepare a mutual NDA”

   Claude should find the bundled Bonterms Mutual NDA template and start the interview.

Tip

When Codraft runs, Claude installs any missing Python packages (docxtpl, pyyaml, jinja2, weasyprint) automatically. The first install takes about 30 seconds; after that, packages are cached locally.
